The shower curtains obviously has not been cleaned or replaced in a while it was brown at the bottom because of soap scum. We were told housekeeping will clean it tomorrow. Our room was pretty dirty and because none of the rooms have phones to call the front desk you have to walk all the way back there. If you’re staying in tower above the lounge make sure everyone staying in the room is registered to the room or you will not be able to get in even if you have a key. if you’re a guest there and rooming with friends only one person gets in free and everyone else has to pay a cover charge to get in even if we’re all in the same room. During the evening when the lounge is operating we had to get escorted from the elevator to the front door then walk around to another entrance to get patted down for weapons etc. We’ve stayed here before and kind of knew what to expect but they’ve had a few changes. We paid the $20 early check in fee (cash only) but everything else went on our credit cards. Location!!! If you are planning to do a lot on Fremont St., this is the place for you!!! one last note, we arrived HOURS before check-in and left HOURS after checkout due to our flights and they let us check our bags while we went exploring, MAJOR bonus points! Technology, on the other hand, I'm in a constant fight it seems with anything technology is involved in! *SIGH* Rooms in the tower were quiet despite being above the bar and the security at the elevator to keep strays from wandering the halls of the guests who were staying was top notch! Definitely would recommend this hotel. Overall, the stay was great, staff was friendly, place was clean and I would recommend it. We were offered an upgrade for the inconvenience to a poolside room (which we did not want to move all of our stuff for one night, nor was the pool any use to us) but settled for 2 drinks (one each) at the bar. without knocking first to check the room as his paperwork showed our room was empty. We arrived April 29, checked in and was enjoying our stay until May 1 when a male employee opened our door at 7 A.M.
